ABOUT ABOUT

Join Us For Herb With The Herd!

Stressed? Can't relax? Too much on your mind? We've got the ultimate natural solution! Grab your yoga mat and join us for a special goat yoga class - Herb With The Herd: The Dopest Goat Yoga Around!

Herb With The Herd combines the three best relaxation techniques we know of - yoga, baby goats and Recess, a sparkling water infused with hemp extract (CBD) and adaptogens for balance and clarity. So you can totally chill out during your downward dog while getting all those good feels that only baby goats can bring. Goat yoga will be followed by goat snuggle time, selfies, a chance to visit the pop-up farm store and meet the farmers, sample Recess and shop their CBD drink selection.

Two classes will be held on July 14th at 10am and 11:30am. You may sign up for both but must purchase tickets for each. Children may attend this event but may not participate in Recess/CBD distribution.

*Looking for a private class or group retreat? Please contact us at [email protected] or 845.514.0063 for more info.

About Recess

Recess is a consumer wellness brand creating products and experiences designed to help people feel balanced, centered, and inspired so they can be their most productive and creative selves — despite an increasingly stressful world.

About CBD

CBD is a chemical component of the Cannabis sativa plant, more commonly known as marijuana. However, CBD does not cause intoxication or euphoria (the “high”) that comes from tetrahydrocannabinol (THC). CBD has anti-inflammatory and anti-oxidant properties, and is known to protect nerve cells from damage. CBD may also help reduce pain. A study from the European Journal of Pain showed, using an animal model, CBD applied on the skin could help lower pain and inflammation due to arthritis. Another study demonstrated the mechanism by which CBD inhibits inflammatory and neuropathic pain, two of the most difficult types of chronic pain to treat. CBD is also commonly used to address anxiety, and for patients who suffer through the misery of insomnia, studies suggest that CBD may help with both falling asleep and staying asleep. The best part about CBD is that it's derived from a naturally occurring plant, therefore it is not a manmade drug.
